}}Parameters
- name – (Mandatory) — The name of the constellation, as defined by the IAU
- abbreviation – (Mandatory) — The three letter IAU abbreviation for the constellation
- genitive – (Mandatory) — The genetive form of the constellation's name used in the construction of star names in Bayer designations and Flamsteed designations
- pronounce – (Optional) — The pronunciation of the constellation's name, and the genitive form. Please use the IPA and optionally respelling.

* {{IPAc-en|IPA}} {{respell|respelling}}
;Genitive
* {{IPAc-en|IPA}} {{respell|respelling}}- symbolism – (Optional) — the meaning of the constellation
- ie. Draco, is "the dragon", so fill in as the dragon
- RA and dec -- coordinates of the constellation
- RA – (Mandatory) — right ascension, use the {{RA}} or {{Deg2HMS}} template to fill in this parameter
- the right ascension of the lower and upper extremes of the constellation
- dec – (Mandatory) — declination, use the {{DEC}} template to fill in this parameter
- the declination of the lower and upper extremes of the constellation
- RA – (Mandatory) — right ascension, use the {{RA}} or {{Deg2HMS}} template to fill in this parameter
